If you share our enthusiasm for the stories, poems and memoirs we're publishing, as well as our conviction that authors should be paid for their work, we hope you will consider supporting us with a donation.
Any funds contributed will be used for the following:
- Payment for authors
- Domain registration and web hosting
- Mailchimp fees
- Classified advertisements soliciting submissions
Wordrunner eChapbooks does not have nonprofit tax status, though this is definitely a nonprofit operation. We are grateful for any and all donations, but especially to two anonymous Floridian benefactors who in February 2014 donated enough to float Wordrunner eChapbooks for two years. We increased payment to authors and enlarged the previously flat classified ad budget. When that well ran dry, we began to charge submission fees, which we have kept as low as possible.
In 2021 another anonymous benefactor donated a substantial enough sum for us to publish more pieces in the anthology, increase payment to authors of collections, and advertise again in Poets & Writers.
