About WordrunnerWordrunner Electronic Chapbooks is an outgrowth of Wordrunner Publishing Services, a one-woman shop, established in 1982 in San Francisco, and presently located in a home office in Petaluma (40 miles north of San Francisco). Hello! I'm Jo-Anne Rosen, fiction writer and small press publisher. Wordrunner c'est moi. The e-chapbooks, as envisioned at this stage, are akin to small press quarterlies or occasional zines, featuring one writer or a collective of writers in each issue. My intention is to publish quality writing on this site and to ensure that the work does not go “out of print” (i.e., stays archived online, unless authors request otherwise). I regret that no payment can be offered to authors at this juncture for publication. An anthology of fiction and memoir from my writing support group, the Noname Writers Convivium, was the first work published by Wordrunner Electronic Chapbooks (September, 2008). Please take a look at the Wordrunner site to see what else is going on in my shop. I build websites and prepare any sort of publication for print or electronic distribution. Contact:
