About Wordrunner

Wordrunner e-chapbooks are small press quarterlies, featuring one writer or a collective of writers in each issue. The intention is to publish quality writing on this site and to ensure that the work does not go “out of print” (i.e., stays online).

Wordrunner Electronic Chapbooks is an outgrowth of Wordrunner Publishing Services, a one-woman shop, established in 1982 in San Francisco, and presently located in a home office in Petaluma (40 miles north of San Francisco).

The “Wordrunner” is Jo-Anne Rosen, fiction writer and small press publisher, joined by guest editors who will read submissions (beginning July 1, 2010).

An anthology of fiction and memoir from Jo-Anne's writing support group, the Noname Writers Convivium, was the first work published by Wordrunner Electronic Chapbooks (September, 2008).
